One commission on the product price, never on shipping or tax, and no monthly fee unless you choose the lower rate. Card processing is passed through at Stripe's cost. No setup fees, no contract.

What does it cost?

Listing is free. Selling costs 12% of the product price with no monthly fee, or $39 a month and 8% once you sell about $1,000 a month or more. Founding makers pay 7% with no monthly fee for their first year. Commission is never charged on shipping or tax, and card processing is passed through at cost.

How is this different from Etsy or Amazon?

Everyone on Steeped is here for tea. Shoppers search by origin, harvest and how a tea brews, follow the makers they like, buy from several of them in one cart, and brew your teas with your own guides. You're found next to other good teas, not next to everything else.

Is there a contract?

No. Sell has no monthly fee at all. Sell more is month to month, and you can switch back to Sell whenever you like. Your listings stay up either way, and there are no setup fees.

What is Brew with Steeped?

A code for your packaging. Customers scan it with their iPhone and brew your tea with the guide you wrote, without installing an app. It comes with the Steeped iPhone app, on every plan.

Do I need my own online shop?

No. Shoppers check out on Steeped, from several makers in one cart, and Stripe pays you. If you already have a shop, keep it; Steeped is another place to be found.

Who ships the orders?

You do, from your own stock. Each order shows what needs to go out and where, and you mark it shipped when it leaves.

Can my team help?

Yes. Invite teammates to your shop. Owners and admins look after settings, plans and payouts.

When can I start?

Now. Steeped is opening to makers ahead of its launch: email us about your teas and we'll send your invite to the merchant panel, which walks you through setup.
